Local Senior Resources
The Faith In Action Care Program provides services to older adults in the greater Winston-Salem area. Services are provided by trained volunteers of all ages from area congregations, organizations, and the greater community.
Shepherd’s Center volunteers visit homebound older adults providing support for those who are isolated and respite care for caregivers who need a break.
What Services are Provided?
Home Visitation – 1 1/2 – 2 hours a week | |
Respite Care for Family Caregivers | |
Minor Home Repairs | |
Medical Transportation (1 trip per week) | |

Grocery Shopping (2 times per month) |
There are no charges for any of these services, except for home repair materials. |
