Charlotte Mecklenburg Senior Centers
The mission of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Senior Centers, Inc. is to serve as a focal point to deliver a broad spectrum of services and activities to older adults throughout the Charlotte Mecklenburg community. We strive to help seniors with their health and wellness, decrease their loneliness and isolation, and provide assistance with social, economic, and educational opportunities to enhance the quality of their lives.

PROGRAMS
Here are some of the ways in which CMSC is making a positive difference in the lives of persons 55+ years of age:
Educational & Social: computer, dance, art and language classes, trips, seminars, bridge and other recreational activities.
Health & Wellness: provides a wide variety of cardiovascular and strength training programs.
Information & Counseling: guidance to services available at CMSC and in the community and their families in our community.
Multi-Cultural: outreach to Latino, Russian, Vietnamese and Asian elderly immigrants.
Nutrition: provides balanced, low cost meals to seniors daily.
Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP): recruits and places volunteers within the community.
Senior Employment: job counseling, training and placement.
